Applied science is a discipline that is used to apply existing scientific knowledge to develop more practical applications, for example: technology or inventions. In natural science, basic science (or pure science) is used to develop information to explain phenomena in the natural world.
A Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree requires an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree, a minimum of 4-years of professional development or additional classes in an approved field, professional certifications or approved military training, and 2-years of upper level college courses.
Within natural science, disciplines that are basic science, also called pure science, develop information to predict and perhaps explain—thus somehow understand—phenomena in the natural world. Applied science applies science to real world practice.

The principles of the physical, biological, and behavioral sciences – form and serve as the foundation for the process of Applied Functional Science.

You will be encouraged and empowered with our process as it is scientifically based, evidence-based, and purpose-based. Within Part Two we reveal our ultimate mission.

To encourage transformation through the creation and management of personalized environments with the utilization of the authentic drivers of Applied Functional Science.

These principles (or truths) of Applied Functional Science™ come from an understanding of the physical sciences, biological sciences, and behavioral sciences. As our principles are introduced, our strategies that emanate from our truths of function are logically revealed.
